Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: January 15, 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by AirMax Heating and Cooling ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") in Reynoldsburg, Ohio and surrounding areas. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services Provided

AirMax Heating and Cooling provides:

  • Heating system installation, repair, and maintenance
  • Air conditioning installation, repair, and maintenance
  • Indoor air quality solutions
  • HVAC system inspections and diagnostics
  • Emergency repair services
  • Preventive maintenance programs

2. Service Appointments

  • Scheduling: Appointments must be scheduled in advance. Emergency services may be available subject to technician availability.
  • Access: Customer must provide safe and reasonable access to equipment and work areas.
  • Cancellations: Please provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations to avoid potential charges.
  • Delays: We will make reasonable efforts to arrive within scheduled time windows but are not liable for delays due to circumstances beyond our control.

3. Pricing and Payment

  • Estimates: Written estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified.
  • Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements are made in writing.
  • Accepted Payment: We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
  • Late Payments: Unpaid balances may incur late fees and interest charges.
  • Disputed Charges: Any billing disputes must be reported within 30 days of invoice date.

4. Warranties and Guarantees

  • Workmanship: We guarantee our workmanship for one (1) year from completion date.
  • Parts: Parts are covered by manufacturer warranties. We will assist with warranty claims.
  • Equipment: New equipment installations include manufacturer warranties as specified.
  • Limitations: Warranties do not cover normal wear, misuse, or damage from external factors.

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about HVAC systems and issues
  • Ensure safe working conditions and clear access to equipment
  • Inform us of any known hazards (asbestos, electrical issues, etc.)
  • Be present during service or designate an authorized representative
  • Follow recommended maintenance schedules

6. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of services provided. We are not liable for:

  • Consequential or indirect damages
  • Pre-existing conditions or defects
  • Damage due to improper use or maintenance
  • Acts of nature or circumstances beyond our control
  • Loss of use, income, or business interruption

7. Safety and Compliance

  • All work performed complies with local codes and regulations
  • Required permits will be obtained when necessary
  • Safety protocols must be followed by all parties
  • Customers must disclose any known safety hazards

8. Property Protection

  • We take reasonable care to protect your property during service
  • Pre-existing damage should be noted before work begins
  • We carry liability insurance for accidental damage
  • Valuable items should be secured before service begins

9. Emergency Services

  • Emergency rates apply for after-hours, weekend, and holiday service
  • Emergency service availability is not guaranteed
  • Emergency calls will be prioritized based on severity and safety concerns

10. Maintenance Agreements

  • Maintenance agreements are separate contracts with specific terms
  • Regular maintenance helps prevent breakdowns and maintains warranties
  • Agreement holders receive priority scheduling and discounted rates

11. Dispute Resolution

  • We encourage direct communication to resolve any concerns
  • Disputes will be governed by Ohio state law
  • Any legal proceedings will be conducted in Franklin County, Ohio

12. Privacy and Communications

  • Your personal information is protected according to our Privacy Policy
  • We may contact you regarding service reminders and maintenance
  • You may opt out of marketing communications at any time

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with the effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
